What makes you truly confident?

What Is True Confidence?
"You can’t be nervous when your heart is on service."
— Lewis Howes
Self-confidence and self-awareness are two of the most powerful traits you can develop.
Since I was a kid, I was chasing that one feeling — to be more, feel more, achieve more.
I looked up to the calm ones. The focused ones. The people who could handle chaos with peace. I wanted that.
I thought success would get me there — education, a good career, financial security, physical health. And in part, it did.
But confidence based on what you have is fragile.
True confidence comes from what you give.
“The secret of living is giving.”
— Tony Robbins
When I was 12, I spent every spare moment skating in the streets of Athens with my friends.
One summer, we were hungry, counting coins in front of a takeaway gyros shop..
A delivery guy — probably earning minimum wage — walked up and gave us €5.
No lecture. No judgment. Just kindness.
Another time, when my friend’s board broke, we walked into a skate shop. The woman at the counter gave us new parts. For free. Just because we asked.
Those moments changed how I see the world.
I learned that people with very little can still give.
And that giving makes you stronger.
KJÆR Is Built on That Spirit
I started KJÆR to turn that spirit into a brand.
A handmade skincare company built on:
Radical transparency
Real purpose
Street culture and soul
And most importantly:
1/3 of our profits go to giving skateboards, shoes, or gear to teenagers who can’t afford them.
Because I was that teenager.
And I believe that confidence isn’t just about how you look —
It’s about how you show up for others.
Clean skin. Clear conscience.
"If you won’t give €1 out of €100, you won’t give €10,000 out of €1,000,000."
— Perry, Founder of KJÆR
